The Pink Panthers?
Central to the August Freedom Bridge Festival is the creation of a themed volunteer collective called “The Pink Panthers”. This is a growing collective of good-hearted people who care enough to give of themselves to others. Whether this be a donation of money, time or experience, the rewards for taking part in this grass routes initiative will be great. The events themselves may slip back into the ether but The Pink Panthers will be left behind in Stirling and will be the seed of growth for the future of the Pink Panthers and the Countdown events in Scotland and the World.
We need your support and so ask you to Join the Pink Panthers in our first mission to build a memorable event in Stirling. Come with us on an adventure that your grandchildren will tell their grandchildren about.
In 2008 the Pink Panthers are forming in Scotland in the Heartland of Scottish Revolution. We are the hosts of a three day fundraising and awareness raising event in August and we need lots of people to volunteer and help to make something beautiful. After the 888 event the team will be established for future years of the Countdown festival.

The plan is to create links with Humanitarian projects around the world and to raise funds to sponsor good people to help out with these projects.
